Brenda Reich, PA-C

Brenda Reich, Certified Physician Assistant, graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1987.  She was one of the first Physician Assistants in North Dakota.  Brenda specializes in the area of family practice and women´s health.  Brenda was a Registered Nurse at the Oakes Community Hospital for 11 years prior to joining SEMC.  "It is very rewarding for me to help someone.  Women especially say it's so nice to have a woman to talk with," says Brenda.  Brenda practices in the Oakes, Gwinner, and Lisbon locations.

Jeanne Hoistad, PA-C

Jeanne Hoistad, Physician Assistant, graduated from the University of North Dakota and joined Southeast Medical Center in 1994.  Her areas of special interest include Family and Preventative Health.  Jeanne was the Director of Nursing and Administrator of Sargent County District Health Unit, and Director of Nursing at Sargent Manor Healthcare Center in Forman prior to joining SEMC.  Jeanne practices in the Forman clinic location.

Karen Kaiser, CNP

Karen Kaiser, Certified Nurse Practitioner, received her degree from the University of North Dakota in 1997.  Her specialty is family practice.  Karen had 27 years experience in the nursing field prior to becoming a CNP.  Although pediatrics was her specialty in nursing, Karen´s work experience covered a wide variety of areas including geriatrics, family practice, and women´s health.  Karen sees patients in Ellendale and Lamoure.  Karen is a long time resident of Ellendale.

Lori Pfeifer, PA-C

Lori Pfeifer, Certified Physician Assistant, graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and joined Southeast Medical Center in 1998.  Lori´s specialties are in family practice and women´s health.  Her experiences include general medicine, surgery, ICU, CCU, trauma, home health, dialysis, and hospice.  Lori practices in the Lidgerwood clinic location.

Vicki Hack, PA-C

Vicki Hack, Certified Physician Assistant, joined SEMC in 1999.  She graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.  Prior to joining Southeast Medical Center, Vicki was involved in the home health care field.  Vicki specializes in the area of family practice and women´s health.  She practices in the Ellendale and Oakes clinic locations.

Nancy Gulsvig, PA-C

Nancy Gulsvig, Certified Physician Assistant, graduated from the University of North Dakota.  Nancy specializes in the area of family practice and women´s health.  Nancy is a native of Oakes and has a 20 year nursing background.  Nancy´s nursing career was in Coronary Care at two famous medical centers-Stanford University & Mayo.  She moved back to Oakes in 1994 and became the Director of Nursing at Oakes Community Hospital.  Nancy worked in various clinical settings including obstetrics, surgery, emergency room, chemo-therapy, outpatient procedures, recovery room & geriatrics.  She joined SEMC in 1997 and woked with Dr. Rup Nagala.  Nancy received her Physician Assistant in 2002 and returned to practice at SEMC in 2003.
